Great advice. This book has some really strong thoughts for you to help yourself become a better musician/person/athlete/whatever.
Excellent information for someone who is learning to play the piano.
The author gives so many great tips for a better practice session. I’m definitely handing this book out to all of my students and buying it in paperback format to keep in my music room at home.

Excellent, readable guide to improve musicianship. Each chapter contains readily applicable tips and recommendations to optimize each practice session in accordance with one's goals. Provides a road map to improve and achieve improvement to long term goals (mastery) by identifying short term, meaningful goals. Enhances your awareness of your practice by providing tips, techniques and processes to stay engaged and continually analyze and measure your progress. Highly recommended for amateur musicians hoping to attain mastery of their instrument and craft.
As simple as the title describes. Music Practice is full of advices and tricks that you will hear from a good piano teacher. Defenitely, you should purchase if you are practicing piano by your own and need a good push forward.
However, and this a positive however, the first chapter in Goal seetings is defenitely the best chapter and highly recommend it for advance and even professional pianists.
Since the price is low, if you can afford it buy it. Its very easy read.
Absolutely a great book on music practicing, in all aspects. Dumais has created a very well-written guide on the topic and it was with joy that I read through it. This is one of those books that I will for sure go back to many times over again as it contains so much tips and insights on how to practice music. After reading this I will try to focus on my motivation, perseverance and I will start recording my voice as described in the book. I think I will also start using a metronome as recommended. Thank you the writer for a great book!
